Ipod Update

Friday is officially the first day of summer, so what better way to celebrate than updating your ipod playlist with new playlist for drinks on the patio, bbq fest, outdoor movie parties or sun tanning on the beach. Day in the Life: Echo Beach

 

A few weeks ago, Mike surprised me with tickets for an upcoming Counting Crows concert. With everything we have had going on lately between buying a house and getting design projects ready (and also feeling very excited) for our engagement party, we were both very much looking forward to a little downtime. Friday night was one of the BEST date nights! I couldn't have asked for more than just hanging out on the sand at Echo Beach, watching the sunset and listening to one of my fav bands - no better way to get a little much needed R&R. What did you all get up to on the weekend?

Day in the Life: Niagara, house, bigups, bbq & euro cup

The past few days have been a whirlwind of a weekend. Very long, exciting, overwhelming, stressful and relaxing days all at the same time! On Friday, I kicked off the early weekend with event site inspections down in Niagara Falls. That was followed by super good news that the fiance and I successfully closed the deal and bought our very first home! Much needed call for celebrations! Saturday morning brought a little sleeping in (such a treat these days), then it was off to engagement party planning, proceeded by an evening with friends for korean bbq, chopstick cheers and an amazing concert by TheBigUps at the Horseshoe Tavern. Sunday was an early rising day with some exercise to help try and wake up and a quick meeting with the mum. Then it was off to a mouth watering backyard bbq with more friends and some much anticipated euro cup soccer! Hope everyone had a great weekend! Happy Monday! xoxox.  Ps. Please all bare with me over the next few weeks as I try and make changes/upgrades to the format of the site. I am still learning as I go so things may look a little unprofessional.
